CONDITIONS FOR LEASE OF THE ROSE BELLE SUGAR ESTATE EVENTS VENUE
A deposit of Rs 15,000.00 shall be paid by the Lessee at the time of booking of venue, which will be forfeited in the following cases:
- Damage to premises and vegetation, including damage to the building in which case additional costs for repairs to the damage caused will be claimed and paid by the Lessee.
- If the event is cancelled by the Lessee one (1) month before its scheduled date.
If the Lessee fails to leave the premises in a clean, good and tidy condition after use, the cost of the number of manday’s work required to clean the premises will be deducted from the deposit.
The site will be handed over to the Lessee two (2) days before the event to enable the Lessee to put up structures and installations as may be required. In the event a longer period is required by the Lessee, an additional rent of Rs 5,000.00 per day for each and every day in excess of the 2 days will be charged.
The rent per day shall be Rs 23,000.00 (inclusive of VAT) and shall be paid at latest three (3) months before the event or as may be mutually agreed. The keys of the building will be handed over to the Lessee one (1) day before the event or as may be mutually agreed and the rent payable will be charged as from the date of occupation of the building.
The Lessee should vacate the site within two (2) days after the event in which case the Lessee should arrange with his contractor, as may be applicable, to remove all structures and installations put up by him on site, otherwise a sum of Rs 5,000.00 will be charged for each and every day in excess of the 2 days.
The Lessee shall make his own arrangements with the CEB for the supply of electricity outside the building and all related costs will be borne by him.
